"Mainiacs away from Maine are truly displaced persons, only half alive, only half aware of their immediate surroundings. Their inner attention is always preoccupied and pre-empted by the tiny pinpoint on the face of the globe called Down East. They try to live not in such a manner that they will eventually be welcomed into Paradise, but only so that someday they can go home to Maine."

Honestly, I’ll probably wait until it comes out on cable. I’m a pretty big TNG fan, but never enough to go running to the theaters when the movies came out.
I never understood the decision to shelve TNG from the telly. (Charlatans!) If I remember correctly the plan was to release movies on a regular basis. That hasn’t exactly happened. Yes, we’ll be watching this too … getting our fix. 🙂
Awwwww, yeah!
Trekkies of the world will rejoice!

Oh, and this is one of my favorite avatars ever.
WTF?
Kim – Opening day, baybee!
TB – That’s okay, we can still be friends. And also? LOVE that avatar. I remember that episode, too. Heh.

Jayne – Exactly! I still love watching the reruns. I hope this movie gives them the interest they need from the younger crowd to keep going.
