I have a complaint. I threatened to reveal all to the Innernets unless I got a satisfactory response. I did not.

Hence.

So, several months ago Calvin purchased a performance chip from SLR Motorsports, to install in our new Trailblazer. We paid our $75, received the chip, and realized it wasn’t what we were looking for. So, following the instructions of the return policy, I sent the chip back and requested a refund.

That was back in September.

Since then I have followed up with them three times, trying to find out the status of our refund. I sent e-mails in October, November, and December. They haven’t responded to any of them. There is no customer service line to call, just an e-mail address or a contact form on their website.

Contrary to what they claimed on their website and in their e-mails to us, installing this performance chip into our truck would have voided the warranty – a fact I’m glad we twigged on before we did the installation. We returned the product, they haven’t refunded the money, and they haven’t responded to our multiple queries.

So, I’m tellin’.

My gentle snowflakes, do me a favor, would you? Tell five people NOT to buy from SLR Motorsports. As I said in the e-mail I sent to them, in this day and age you’d think a company would be smarter about treating its customers with courtesy and respect.

Don’t mess with me. I have the power of the internet on my side.
