Calvin went to have an echocardiogram yesterday, and I went along (because he never tells me the whole story when he goes to the doctor’s alone). I got to watch his heart beating on the monitor. It was SO COOL.

Marie was trying so hard this morning to act all grown-up and nonchalant as she walked downstairs with truck keys in hand and her purse slung over her shoulder. It’s her first morning driving herself to school, and I could tell that all she wanted to do was jump up and down and squee.

She’s such a cutie.
