Friday Night Private Beerfest

I’m expecting Marie will be proud. This entry is, after all, inspired by her.

Picked up an epic ton of microbrews, including these:

That’s Samuel Smith’s Imperial Stout, Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, and Left Hand Brewing Company’s 2009 Oak Aged Imperial Stout.

Not pictured is a twelve pack of Left Hand Brewery selections, which included three each of 400 Pound Monkey English Style India Pale Ale, Sawtooth Ale, Black Jack Porter, and American Ale. Alas, the pack did not include our all-time favorite, Milk Stout.

Finally, a six-pack of New Belgium’s Fat Tire and another six-pack of New Belgium’s 1554 (Bill’s personal favorite).

We are surely well stocked for the foreseeable future.

WEEE! I have more pictures of beer than I do of my family. Very nice affect there with the reflection in the foreground. You should follow @beerporndaily – good stuff.

I’ve never had that oak aged imperial but I think I’ve tried the Left Hand Milk Stout – also the 400 lb monkey. I got a couple new guys in the fridge too but they’re both barley wines and I need help drinking them (not really).

I’ve discovered there’s not a whole heck of a lot of Left Hand products that I don’t like. I do prefer their American Pale Ale to the 400 Pound Monkey, though. Had the Sam Smith Imperial Stout last night. OM NOM NOM NOM.
