"Mainiacs away from Maine are truly displaced persons, only half alive, only half aware of their immediate surroundings. Their inner attention is always preoccupied and pre-empted by the tiny pinpoint on the face of the globe called Down East. They try to live not in such a manner that they will eventually be welcomed into Paradise, but only so that someday they can go home to Maine."

I’ve often found my intense love for both John Cusack and John Corbitt cures whatever is ailing me. Very strange that I’ve never seen that movie (is it Serendipity?) because just watching that clip made me tear up. That song is amazing too. Thanks!
Okay, that was uncalled for. How is it possible you know me this well already, TB.
But it did make me smile before 8am, which is very rare. Long distance *SMACK*!!!

Yes, it is Serendipity! The movie is kind of frustrating until you remember/realize that they finally end up together (belated spoiler alert!).
Yeah, Kim, but at this point hearing you say you’re tearing up is like my son saying he wants a snack.
*ducks*
:: snort :: If she DOES smack you, it’s well deserved! 😛
Kate is a goddess!
Seeing any part of that movie hearing that song or the word serendipity will always make me think of you:)
Aww, warm fuzzies!
