Lilly sent us pictures of the boys!

I got bored the other night and created my own South Park character:

I call it, “When South Park meets the Rocky Horror Picture Show”.

Finally, this is the sight that greeted Calvin this morning when he went out to get the paper. What you see here is the neighbor’s front lawn, adorned with plastic knives, forks and spoons stuck into the ground.

My question here is, what le fuck?

  1. Rebecca says:

The thrill of pranking someone… those were the days! But forking is kinda lame. So what if they have to spend 5 minutes picking forks out of their lawn. *Yawn*

Why not do something much more frustrating to clean up (though harmless)? Like leaving them a message in white shoepolish on the windshield of the car and then thoroughly wrapping the car in plastic wrap?

But that was just my 12 year old self….

And let’s not even get into my cousins stories of the ‘poo gifts’ left burning in brown paper bags on friends concrete doorsteps or pumpkin rolling…..

BTW – ADORABLE pics of the grandbabies!

  2. Forking is either cool…or I am not hip. The latter is probably more true than the former, btu I still would chuckle at the thought.

The worst thing we ever did was write some “funny” things in a yard using gasoline. It wasn’t a nice thing to do, but it took it about three weeks to grow back out.

We laughed. His mom and dad did not, but we never REALLY got caught…we were only suspects.

  3. angelcel says:

Oh you must be so pleased to have received these photos. (The last thing I heard, contact had pretty much ceased…unless I’ve missed something important)?

Re the South Park character: Hahaha…Interesting!
Re the forks in the lawn? : The weirdness continues….. 😀

I’m thinking, yours must be an interesting town to live in!

  4. jen says:

Roman takes after his grandpa for sure!

  5. K says:

The plastics to the lawn!? That’s awesomely funny!

  6. Laura says:

Rebecca – I must confess, I’ve never heard of this “forking” business before.

MTAE – I must have been an unusually good child, since I never indulged in ANY pranking. Though I only had two neighbors, and I liked them. So, hmm.

Jayne – I was so happy! She got my message on her MySpace account and sent us the pics, and a Christmas card, and some gifts! It was very thoughtful of her.

    Jen – Doesn’t he???

K – It certainly did take us aback. She had them all cleared away by the afternoon.
