Even better, go earlier:

Maybe Taoist Biker can explain why all guitarists seem to make that face? Not that I’m complaining that I know what Mr. Edward Van Halen’s “O-face” looks like…

I’m just sayin.

  1. Taoist Biker says:

Because when you’re on, it’s Bonerville.

  2. Kim says:

I saw Van Halen in 1991 in Atlanta, GA. Alice in Chains opened for them, which we were initially excited about until we saw them and they were off. The heroin must’ve been good that day because they played everything at half-speed. VH on the other hand, were awesome. Eddie played so hard he broke a guitar string and didn’t miss a beat while someone ran out onstage and brought him a new guitar.
    Ahhh, rock & roll.

  3. I can do a face like that…but my wife just suggests that I increase my intake of fiber to get rid of it.

  4. Kim says:

    MTAE – HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Whew, that was a good one.
I just wanted to pop back in and say I’m making your crock pot roast today. But I just freaked out when I saw you cook it for 10 hours. Since it’s already 11:30 here, I’m too late. If we eat around 7 tonight, you think that’ll be sufficient time or should I turn the temp to hi at some point?

  5. Laura says:

    TB – Hah! I’d imagine!

Kim – I saw them when they were touring with Hagar and Roth – Hagar was much better. Roth just totally lost his voice after all the drinking.

MTAE – Okay, GREAT. Now I have a visual of you on the throne with your wife egging you on. THANKS.

Kim – (also sent in e-mail) Is it a huge roast? Because if not, you should be fine. If it is, I’d say to turn the temp to high now for a couple of hours, then return it to the low setting so the roast doesn’t dry out. Just keep an eye on the liquid level.

  6. K says:

Ed was so cute when he was younger, but everyone thought so…I liked Roth…and the chaps…nuff said!

  7. Laura says:

    K – DROOOOOLLLLL…
